Can anyone help me trace a mystery Mildred? Reginald Thomas Dale was born on 12 Aug 1907 in Staffordshire. he married Annie Bettany in October 1927 in Stoke on Trent. She died in 1950.
My cousin says he then married again someone called Mildred ( Millie?) but I can't find any record of the marriage( maybe didn't actually marry).
She had two children by her previous marriage named Wesley and Mildred. My cousin knows she was still alive about 1975 but thinks she may have died shortly afterwards . Reginald died in 1991in Arclid, Cheshire.
If anybody could help me fill in the missing pieces about Mildred I would be very grateful!

Cant find much out about Wesley and Mildred her children so far

sadly, that's not her. That Mildred died in 1968 and my cousin knows his Mildred was still alive ( just) in 1975

Does he have an address for reginald after 1950 or have any idea when he moved to Cheshire

There were quite a few Thomason siblings, would Mildred or Wesley have been a niece or nephew, have you checked out 1939 census, Nora would have been about 40 ish I think when she married

Well, out of left field I've just found an entry that shows that a Mildred Dodd married a Wesley Dale in 1942 at a Methodist Church in Newcastle under Lyme in 1942 so I'm wondering if my elderly cousin has got it mixed up and they weren't brother and sister but were husband and wife.
Reginald's first wife Annie Bettany died in 1950 so I assume they got together sometime after that

in terms of an address after 1939 when he lived in Dale St Stoke on Trent the only other info I have is he was cremated on the 3rd June 1999 at a cemetery in Cheshire England. He died in a village called Arclid in Cheshire but I don't know how long he had lived there

Have you found Wesley on 1939?, that might be the biggest clue to who was living with him, you say you found him on 1939

Sadly it doesn't get me any closer to Mildred who had died in 1975!

That Reginald Thomas Dale has the wrong date of birth ??? and it looks as if he was the one that married Nora

I have an update.
I've just seen a letter written by Reginald's son Frank in 2003 saying that after his mother Annie died in 1950 he and his father Reg went to live with Mildred( Millie.. Millicent?) in Alsager Cheshire.
Does anyone know if you can access Cheshire voter's roll's on line or any other source of information that would help me?
