Title: John Cowan - Agnes Smith marriage records

I am trying to find marriage records for my gg grandparents.  John Cowan born approx 1850 and his wife Agnes nee Smith born approx 1864.  Before they emigrated to Australia, they lived with their children, at 3 Bachtemple Neill, Troon Ayrshire.
Any assistance with this enquiry is greatly appreciated.

Hi Debra

There is a marriage entry showing on Scotlands People (I haven't viewed it just done the searches) for a John Cowan and Agnes Smith who married in 1888 in Newton on Ayr, Ayr. This is the only marriage showing for this period in Scotland for a couple with these names.

Just browsing and having lived in Troon myself, would say that the correct spelling of the address quoted is "Back Templehill".
