I am trying to trace William (possibly George William) CURTIS c.1800 (pure guess) a sawyer by trade.
The marriage certificate of George Curtis b.1823, Kensington to Mary Ann Titcomb b.1818, Great Coxwell, Berks lists William as the father to George.
If any body can glean any info about William (where/when born, addresses, marriage etc.), or if additional details are required, I would be grateful of a reply.

Hi
am also trying to find out more about the Curtis line. My great grandmother was Emily Ada Curtis, daughter of George, who was son of George and Mary Ann. Got him back to 1851 census and forward to 1881 only. Any further info greatly appreciated.
Regards
Laura
