Hello all, I am looking to have this photo coloured for my brother in law.
It's of his Grandfather Alwin Tatenhorst on the left, photo taken in Russia in August 1943.
The man in the middle is Englebert Heiner and a policeman on the right.
-
I've given it a go, but I don't know about the colours, if you want anything changing just let me know.

Pat, thank you kindly looks great I will pass I on.
Much appreciated

The two men on the left are Luftwaffe so the uniforms should be blue. The State Police officer's uniform should be more of a grey-green, with dark brown collar and cuffs - see these examples https://tinyurl.com/y63aj7j8 and https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/815H9ng9v3L.jpg

Okay thank you Shaun maybe somebody will be able to help with that.
Thanks again pal.

Thanks for that Shaun...I had the RAF the right colour, but not the other guy so changed the colour. It's a subject close to my heart as my son is a Flight Sergeant/Interpreter.
Here is my offering.

i dip into this forum from time to time. I'm never anything less than impressed by the quality of the restorations and the attention to correct detail. These points are reflected completely in these contributions. Well done, everyone.
