Hi help with a new SEWELL in Nottingham

Reg Year:1861  Reg Quarter: Jul-Aug-Sep  Reg District: Nottingham
Mary Ann Martin
Mary Ann Porter
Henry Sewell
Charles Spencer

I need to know if Henry married Miss Martin or Miss Porter, if anyone can help, before I make a guess and order a pdf.

Nottingham is a new area for my research and I'm finding it not easy to research for free, humph, and do not know the area at all, so struggling.

Any help would be much appreciated.

 1871 has a son Herbert b 1870

 GRO has Herbert Sewell b Nottingham 1870 mmm Martin.
  So Mary Ann Martin.

It was late and I was tired, of course the GRO for births would confirm, think I was just overwhelmed by the difficulty of Nottingham.

FreeREG has a lot of Nottingham records.


Henry is with his Brother John c 1826 in 1861 Census.
Also there is their Father William, the lodger in 1871 Census with Henry.

I cant see a Marriage for William/Maria.
