I am trying to trace any relatives of Edwina Wordley who was born sometime between about 1916 and 1922 who gave birth to a son in Croydon in 1940.

Familysearch has a James WORDLEY/Ethel OTHEN Marriage 1914 Alverstoke.
No other details.
Marriage is on FreeBMD + children 1914/1916/1920
James looks to have died 1920 age 55
Ethel looks to have remarried 1925 to Frederick Stowe
Edwina is with them 1939 register, but Anc has not transcribed record properly and I can see it is hard to read. DOB is right though.
There are 3 children to Ethel/Frederick Stowe.

James looks to have died 1920 age 55

Something a little strange here;
There is a Leslie J WORDLEY Birth Reg 1923 also, Mother Othen.
If James died 1921 then who is his Father? Poss Fred Stowe?
He seems to go too Canada also and back to the UK and possibly died there 1962 reg Berkshire
