Title: Alexander Young 1807
Post by: Poppymac on Monday 21 September 20 14:59 BST (UK)
Good afternoon
Looking to see if anyone has information on  Alexander Young after DNA test, on the evidence so far it seems clear that Alexander Young b. 4 October 1807 Berwickshire d. 19 May 1893 Selkirkshire is the common ancestor of the closest DNA matches when trying to find the birth father for my partner.  We believe that some part of the family moved to Canada (closest match is a 3rd cousin living there)
Maybe someone out there has this Alexander on their tree.  Thsnks

No births in Selkirkshire.

The nearest to the Selkirkshire border on https://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk a reasonable pay to view site.

YOUNG   ALEXANDER   JOHN YOUNG/JANET CAMERON    21/12/1806   Stobo, Peebleshire

Or this in Berwickshire and plenty more elsewhere

YOUNG   ALEXANDER   THOMAS YOUNG   04/10/1807      Westruther, Berwickshire
