Need help reading maiden name of mother of groom. Thanks.
-
It could be McCrone.
-
McCredie?
Can you not look up a marriage for the parents? You could take a guess at how many years before the birth of the bride. For England and Wales we can look up births and that gives us the maiden name of the mother, so I guess you could look up the birth of the bride.

Looking at 1871 census and then Scottish births index on Ancestry 'Lodger' is correct - surname given as McCrone - Robert being born 2/5/1865 Milton, Glasgow.
