Title: Templetons Ireland-Cumbria

Hi i am looking for any help tracing my famly My 4th great grandparens were called alexander and catherine templeton 1758 and 1757 in ireland they moved to cumbria in 1800s, my great grandad died in st bees and my great granmother died in carlisle 100 years old. i m looking for to find out excatly where in ireland they are from and trying to find out catherines  maiden name.

Have you found Great-grandma on 1851 census? What did it say for place of birth?
Was her death reported in a local newspaper?
Were any of their children or other family members in Cumberland? What did they say for place of birth on census?
