Hello am looking for some help with McDonald children who came out from Scotland (via England) in 1922, to live at Fairbridge Farm, Pinjarra. I have researched Agnes McDonald but only just found she had two siblings Master William/Willie McDonald and Miss I McDonald. Agnes and Thomas Willis were the first couple to marry at Fairbridge Farm in 1928. Thank you.

On April 1 1922, Miss A McDonald, 16, departed for Australia on board the Orsova, address given as Child Emig Society, Savoy House, Strand, W C 2. She and brother William were placed at Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Western Australia.
Thomas (Tommy) and Agnes had three children and lived at Yandanooka. Agnes died in hospital in Subiaco in 1949 aged only 43

Looking at the snips you have provided above, it seems the information is taken from an online tree on Ancestry. The screen shots are tagged as source citations.
What is the basis for believing that Miss I. McDONALD (spelt MacDonald on other shipping registers for the voyage on Ancestry) was a sister to William and Agnes?
It is after all not an uncommon surname.

21177 MACDONALD, Agnes 1906 SCT, May 1922 : Orsova AUS Fairbridge Homes
21173 MACDONALD, Isabella 1911 ENG, May 1922 : Orsova AUS Fairbridge Homes
21168 MACDONALD, John 1913 ENG, May 1922 : Orsova AUS Fairbridge Homes

From the shipping list Agnes and William are born Scotland but Isabella born England , so maybe not related :-\

Thank you everyone for your input. I just assumed Miss I McDonald was a sibling because they were grouped together. So maybe she isn't. Thank you so much for the info on William McDonald it was excellent. Cheers Robyn
