Title: parish marriage record
Post by: Ringading on Monday 24 August 20 21:19 BST (UK)
Hi all,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to get a copy of a catholic parish marriage certificate, and if so would it possibly contain more information that the general search engines, i.e, Ancestry, my Heritage, find my past.,If it is possible, who would one apply to for this. Once again thanks for your help.

Really depends on date of marriage and how much detail was recorded by that particular priest. May Catholic Parish Registers are online (free)- have you tried there first?

If you tell us the church and date we might be able to tell you if such a register survives and how to get details from it.
