could some one either remove dog on right or replace a head and highlight tavern name  photo is from 1920's

Which is the scariest, the lady with the shotgun or the dogs with the sharp teeth.  I wouldn't want to take a burst wage packet home to either,

Was she wearing pearls? They don't go with the boots. That's what's known as keeping up appearances, wearing pearls when going shooting. Nobody would try to steal HER jewellery.
Dog's ears look cropped.
Were the people Irish?

One from me with only one dog. I think one would always wear ones pearls when going out whatever the occasion.
