Hi
I've found a public tree online that references a marriage between Henry Hare and Sarah Bonfield in 1772 in Shillington. However when I looked on the IGI for shillington I couldn't find any trace of that marriage.
If anyone has access to the PRs for Shillington I'd much appreciate it if they were able to check to see if this marriage actually exists. Maybe the person who put it in their public tree did so incorrectly, but I'd like to know one way or the other.
Many Thanks
George

Transcripts of the Shillington registers have an entry for the marriage, Henry being of Old Warden.

The Beds FHS surname index also has entries (listed separately by name, as the index does) for a Hen Hare (of Old Warden) and Sar Bonfield both marrying in 1772 in Shillington. I don't have a copy of the BFHS' transcripts for Shillington so it can't be stated for sure the persons married each other. However, given the registers linked above, all seems correct.
