Title: Callington Cornwall. Pub
Post by: facellia on Thursday 13 August 20 16:17 BST (UK)
Trying to discover if there was a Pub in Callington possibly called the Blue Boar
Remember visiting & staying there  with my parents as my father knew the Landlord,
a Mr (possibly Horace) Pidgeon aka "Pidge" from De Havilland aircraft during WW11

Thanks in advance,
   Chris

H A Pidgeon held licence of Blue Cap Hotel, Callington for 3 1/2 years up to December 1960.
He left to take  over  Dukes Head Hotel, Great Yarmouth in his home county of Norfolk.
The licence at Callington  was taken over by W.S Dossett

Hi Dave Jones,
Thank you so much for the info
Been trying to resolve my late father's connection to H Pidgeon for many years
The Norfolk link also ties it together

 Much appreciated
