As per title, does anyone know how one would get a copy of the birth or baptism record as listed on the British Army Births and Baptisms index? You have a date, regiment, volume and page reference for each named entry.

If it’s a birth registration and you’re wanting the birth certificate, you need to use the GRO order form for Overseas Certificates. This allows free-form text entry in at least one of the fields, and you can enter the regiment there. The cost is £11.00 – there is no pdf option.
The GRO information sheet for Overseas certificates is here ...

Thanks Bookbox. I was surprised to see Regimental births baptisms and marriages go back to 1761 and can be ordered through the GRO. I had assumed it would need a visit to the Imperial War Museum or National Archives.

I have a copy of a typed list of 'Army Births and Baptisms' (via findmypast) that gives me PLACE, YEAR, REGT, VOL, PAGE for someone I am researching.
Do these details correspond to the GRO 'Year, District of Birth, Vol and Page' I am asked for when I try an online search via GRO?
https://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/indexes_search.asp
For example, I have the following details for someone I'm trying to find a birth certificate for:
White, Andrew - Birmingham - 1853 - 2nd Dgns - 231 - 103
but, if I use '1853, Birmingham, 231, 103' via the GRO online search, I don't get any results. Is that because I'm using the incorrect GRO vol and page or because GRO doesn't have all army births online?
I've just added some of these details as best I can to the 'Order a Certificate or PDF' form for Overseas as advised on this chat and am hoping that GRO will send something that I've been unable to find online.
thanks,
Bella

When ordering via GRO they ask for "Reference No" - which is the "Line No" on the FindMyPast record. In this instance it is 115. (VOL and PAGE not required)

Thanks Hanes teal - that's helpful.
