Could someone remove the scratches and blemishes on this photo of Kathie and Pat taken in the late 1930s in the Bedford area please. I am not sure about the black blob by Kathie's head, I don't think it is her hair which probably looked more like Pat's.
Thanks - Robert

I love thisphoto with the doves in the background and the interupted game of cricket. I don't know what the little one is looking at in her hands, but it looks like the elder has the ball ready in her right hand.

One with a different tone

I am not happy with the results as there was no detail to pull for restoring the girls face, either way this is the best I could do with this. Two versions a sepia and a b&W

My try. :)

Thanks everyone for the clean ups, thy are brilliant. I've now found a slightly later photo of the two girls with their mother Elsie May. Kathie is on the left of the photo.

Is this cheating? Did I copy the right girl's head ?

It sort of works Ian, but I think restoration experts might consider it cheating a bit. Just as well you didn't use the head from my avatar, she's a bit older there! Thanks.
