Title: Park Gates, Odiham, Southampton, Hampshire

Hello=I am wishing to verify Henrietta Hull who died 1 Sept 1876 at this address. I cannot locate it and found that Odiham and Southhampton are 2 different places.  Is Park Gates a correct address for one or the other. Her husband James Cole also died 26 Dec 1859, Hillside Odiham Southampton?

There is a Henrietta Cole death Sept qtr 1876 Hartley W

Odiham is a place in Hampshire.  Hampshire formerly had the alternative name of "the county of Southampton".

"Park Gates" seems to have been the address of a few houses on or near Farnham Road in Odiham. The park in question would be Dogmersfield Park.

JohninSussex-  Thank you for advising me re: the county of Southamption becomming Hampshire.
  When names change so much, I find it difficult to verify if I have the correct person and where they
   have lived, especially when there is no notification to look under different names.  Again many
