Title: John Harris Richards Died Sefton Reg Dist 13th Feb 1983 what can you tell me ?

Hi,
John Harris Richards was born in South Wales on the 2nd Dec 1913.

He moved to Lancashire in 1939.

He died on or about 13 Feb 1983

What happend to him between 1939 and 1983  ? Can anyone please help Me ?

Birthdate given by you does not correspond with the one on the death reg.  There is a 1939 entry for the one who died 1983

Possible marriage on freebmd 1947  see also www.lancashirebmd.org.uk

Child born 1963

There is a possible JH Richards living in Southport which would tie in with the possible marriage found on Lancashire BMD at High Park Methodist Chapel which is in Southport. Do you have the marriage certificate?

If that is him he is probably buried in Duke St Cemetery or cremated at Southport Crematorium. If this is the death there may be a death notice in the local paper, the Southport Visiter. Normally I would be able to have a look for you but it isn’t possible at the moment. He would only have a full obituary if he was well known locally. Do you have his death certificate to confirm he is the person you are looking for?
