Hello,
I'm looking for parents of the Deane-Simmons family - namely, Cyril Deane-Simmons born 1888, Milton, Berkshire (according to 1901 census).
GRO index suggests mother was ___ Goodall.
Thank you

Thanks. I've checked this but not sure of parents names. I suppose I need to order birth certificate first.

A Charlotte Goodall married John Simmons 1887 in Pancras
Cyril was at boarding school in 1901 - wonder if his father was in the military?
No 1911 entry & no death in England - what is your connection to the family as it may help with searching
-
Is that the only census you have him on?
On the marriage CaroleW found John was 27 and down as a gentleman
Charlotte was 20

I think South Africa is involved here. There are entries on Ancestry showing something on the SA Biographical Index but I don’t have a WW sub
The surname is showing as Deane-Simmons
