Title: about trying to find a news video clip

hi i was wondering if any one can help am trying to find a news video about a shipwreck on skegness beach and a reporter interviewed my great grandad my family say it was Calendar News who interviewed him and i was wondering will the recording be in skegness archives and my family say the date was on the 6th of may 1977 thanks luke

Hi,
I don'nt know if this is of interest but on You Tube there is a silent film titled Skegness 1974-77 dates July 74 & Feb 77 not very clear but 0.58 into film it shows a ship (Wreck?) on the beach.Is this the one you were talking about if so the date is different to the one you have given.
