Hi,
Apologies if this has been requested before. Can anyone tell me where to find burial records for Elswick Cemetery please?

Newcastle City library and Tyne and Wear Archives both hold records on microfilm.
The archives will probably be reopening in the autumn. I think the library is now open for order and collect books but I am not sure if the local studies on the 6th floor is opening yet.

You are welcome Joan. :)

Depending on the date you may find a burial register entry or an index entry which gives you the grave and plot no on Family Search. (you need to be signed in, but an account is free).
this post may help :

If the burial you are looking for is post 1930 and you get stuck, tell us the name and year of death and we'll have a look.

Hi Boo,
Many thanks for pointing me in the direction of that link. I'm sure it will be very useful for my research. I am looking for dates around 1930 and these are included. I'm looking forward to having a good browse.
Much appreciated :)
