Title: Charles William and Winifred Eileen Dawson

The above emigrated to New Zealand in 1954 intending to live there permanently.

I have found an entry on Ancestry that lists Winifred as applying for naturalisation but can't view the entry as I only subscribe to UK version. Would anyone be able to help me with this?
Also info re husband Charles William Dawson.

Their son was only b 1947 so may still be alive.  Rootschat has a no living persons policy so you need to remove his name from your post

Thank you so much for this info. Its definetly her as date of birth correct.

I would normally check this in local library but they are all closed due to Covid 19.

And for Charles, its him too.
A strange thing, he died in Uk in 1995 but no death for her in Uk.
Unlikely she is still alive.
Would you be able to check electoral rolls and let me have their address or a copy of one years electoral roll?

Have altered my post to not include son.

Only have electoral records up to 1981 address 5,Edwater Grove Orewa Albany Auckland
If you search www.familysearch .org you will see there is another record of immigration 1964 so they returned to the UK perhaps on holiday ..

Winifred Eileen DAWSON (b. 10 August  1918) died in 2017 in New Zealand.  (Info from NZBDM online Death index. )

Will see if I can find additional information for you.

Thank you so much for this info, it is much appreciated.

I didn’t think it was possible to view deaths unless the person had been dead for over 50 years so I didn’t even try as I knew they were both alive in 1981.

I have now found Charles W’s death in the index but how did you find the actual date of death of Winifred?

Any more info gratefully received.
