Title: Savidge/Savage in Toomer's 1815 Newbury Census
Post by: tawyn on Tuesday 07 July 20 14:38 BST (UK)
Hi All,
Hoping someone can see if there is a William & Harriett Savidge/Savage in the 1815 Newbury Census.

William Savidge & Harriett Traylor married in London in 1798, but their sons Benjamin Traylor Savidge & James Traylor Savidge were born in Newbury about 1803 & 1806 respectively from later censuses - no baptism records for either son yet found.  Both sons married in London in 1826 and stayed there but I'm wondering if the family were still in Newbury in 1815 and an occupation & age for William would be a great bonus.
Thanks, Tawyn

Many thanks candrjm.
While there is a William Savage in there, it definitely doesn't look like mine but you are right, could be a father.
