Sandwell Metropoltan Borough Council says on their website:

Burial and cremation records

Sandwell Valley Crematorium  hold the burial and cremation records for the following cemeteries and crematoria.

Cemeteries:

    Fallings Heath, Wednesbury
    Health Lane, West Bromwich
    Holly Lane, Smethwick
    Oldbury
    Rowley Regis
    Thimblemill, Smethwick
    Tipton
    Uplands, Smethwick
    Wood Green, Wednesbury

(Found that with a simple Google search ;D)

Would be helpful if you included details of when he died and his age at death.

How do you know he is in Wood Green?

Check his probate entry - he didn't die at his home address and his death was registered in Rowley Regis which does not cover Wednesbury

As you know his full death date you would probably be better contacting the records office
