I have a John Cropper, born 1835 in Warrington. The last census I have him on is 1881 but cannot find a death for him. On his death he lived in Ancoats, Manchester. Any idea how I can find out when he died?

please could you post the details from the 1881 census you have. Struggling to find one born in Warrington. I assume you mean he was living in Ancoats in 1881 and he died between 1881 & 1891

K Garrad - thanks for that information. I know he was not on the 1891 census, so this must be the correct one
lancsann - I found the death on 1881, but on looking at the census properly it cannot be the same one. If you look for Martha Crupper (name mis-spelled) and open the actual form you will find him on there Somehow it's not showing on the first sheet - I think it must have been omitted somehow.
Anyway, thank you both for your time and effort helping me. Much appreciated

Sorry I haven't replied sooner, but my computer decided not to work.
Thank you for this information regarding John's death. Couldn't find it anywhere. From the looks of where he was buried, if I get round to getting down the Manchester, I can visit all my relatives graves at the same time, as they all appear to be in Philips Park Cemetery.
