The only Marriage I can find is this one for a

He marriage a 
Muriel Margaret Cordwell

Sorry this is not going to help you with your question,  Murial Cordwell is a distant cousin of mine, just wondering if her husbands parents are mentioned on the marriage certificate.

I see in the Tasmanian Archives that Colin William MITCHELL and Muriel Margaret divorced in 1959.

I realise this request was from 2020. There are various entries for Marjorie Doris MITCHELL and Frederick Thomas MITCHELL (builder) at the same address on different electoral rolls. (eg 1963 and 1967). Are you certain that Marjorie Doris WALKER married Colin MITCHELL?

Modified to add:
My mistake, a Marjorie Doris LEAMON married Frederick Thomas MITCHELL in Victoria in 1940.

I see Colin William MITCHELL and Marjorie Doris MITCHELL together at 67 Pitcairn St, Glenorchy in 1972.
