Hello There,
Does anyone please know exactly where this street is/ was?
It was the Street put down for one of my 5x great grandad's, William Marsden when he was buried in 1835, at St Leonard's Church.
Much obliged.
Thank you. :) ;)

Aha!
No worries,
I think I have just found it on an 1868 map.
It is here on the map just off Curtain Road, north of "Chartered Gas Works" and near to St James's Church:

Thanks. :) ;)

Thanks for the map! Just found out my 3x Great Grandmother was born at 19 Cumberland Street in 1837. Always wondered why she was listed as being born in 'St James, Middlesex' in the censuses. Must have been the church across the road where whe was baptised. :)

The name changed from Cumberland Street to Hearn Street between OS surveys of 1873 and 1894.
