according to freebmd charles hancock 36 westminster 1a 82 death registered december quater of 1909  how can I find the widows name to prove the dead person .  emma bushnell &charles nancock,
married 17th july 1906 in all saints battle bridge of which I have copy of banns ,but I can find no trace of them as married .I found a emma hancock widow born holborn in the 1911 census in surrey.I cant find them in anyprobate register.how can I find the widows name ?   alf Bushnell

Hi Alf,
As you cannot find any other records that will help, I think you need to order a copy of the death certificate. You will at least get the name of the informant and , if you are lucky and it is his wife, you will have solved your problem.

I can see her son Andrew in Holborn in 1891, with wife Caroline nee Taylor.

Emma and sister Caroline were admitted to the City Road workhouse, Holborn union, 22 April 1895
A+D register is on ancestry, creed register here gives their address
