Hi everyone hope everyone is going ok. Long time member but not much posting.
Been trying to find information on Mary Ann Wild/e.
Born 17/11/1826
Christened 7/12/1826
Died 5/11/1911 at Ovingham Victoria Australia.
Married John William Platt
23/11/1850 Adelaide Sth Australia.
Trying to find her parents and further back. I have a marriage certificate for her and John but it doesn’t have any parents.
To further confuse things I’ve found 3 different names for her father.
Charles from shipping records
John from a census
Edward from somewhere else.
Thank you in advance for any help or ideas in how to proceed.

You have a birthdate and Baptism date but don't state where they took place. You also mention Shipping record & census record but don't give us any idea when/where

Sorry for bits and pieces at a time, doing this while helping my wife recover from a riding accident. Delayed concussion.
Civil Parish: Prestwich Cum Oldham
Hundred: Salford
County: Lancashire

Sorry to hear about your wife, I hope that she is soon feeling better.
The 1841 census that you refer to H0107/548 Bk12 f27 p18
John Wild 40
Joseph Wild 20
Mary Wild 15
All born in the County of Lancashire
The hospital records that JonW65 found if correct say she is from London.
What information does the shipping record give - What date was it and what other details
-
Do you have her 1911 Death Cert?
Also it may be a good idea to join the Sth Aust Genealogy Soc as they seem to have some Certs;
Her Marriage and Death Certs seem to be held there.
Also this may be her?
Biographical Index of South Australians
