Can someone please help me these are pictures of my husbands family from Berkshire. The one of the couple are Ellen Shurvin and Alfred Blay. The second one is of Ellen with her family. The third one Elsie Blay. I would like to know if someone can date these pictures and also is it possible to get some clarity with the faces please. They appear rather dark.
Thank you for your assistance

For best results either post a copy with more pixels i.e. dots per square inch, aka dpi OR, scan just the head and shoulders at a higher resolution. Look at this effort and see the pixels .. not enough to improve the original by much, cheers, Ian

The first one looks to be Edwardian and the second one maybe 1940s...I have one of my Grandma wearing a very similar dress taken in the 1940s.
