Title: Help with an address 1834
Post by: HmmS336 on Friday 22 May 20 08:38 BST (UK)
Hi folks

Can anyone help with this address, its taken from a Parish Death register from 1834 and St Cutherberts Parish.  I have googled options but not having success.

Thanks

Could it be Heriot's Bridge?

You could try seraching old trade and post office directories. Go to https://auth.nls.uk/join/ (you don't need to register or join to look at the directories)

Click on Digital Resources > Digital Gallery > Scottish history and people > Scottish Post Office Directories > Browse and search

Thank you both - yes when I look at it again I can see Heriots!

Also fits nicely where daughter is later in West Port.

Thanks again
