Ancestry transcribes the relation to head of the first person as 'niece'. This person is the head of the household so don't think it is this.
Has anyone any ideas?
Thanks

Just give a url.
We really, Really need to see more of the handwriting

Am I allowed to give an url for a 1911 census? Thanks
-
If you give us the name of the person, year born and where they were living we can then look for you and say what we think.

Elsie Gillingham born 1900 in Guernsey (however in this census it says France, which is not true)
-
Do you have a ref for the 1911 Census because I cannot find an Elsie Gillingham born 1900 anywhere.

If it's a Channel Islands census, it probably says veuve = widow.
-
This might not help if she is not with her family
1901 5322/25/42
Joseph Gillingham 26 yrs
Jane Gillingham 22 Yrs
Elsie Gillingham 6 months
Living in Guernsey

ADDED - Elsie GILLIGHAM aged 10
Class: RG14; Piece: 34791; Schedule Number: 36
Seems reasonable.
Sorry didn’t see you had given 1911 details.

And looking at the image I believe it does read veuve = widow.
