Title: ---- ? Rogers.
Post by: nogbat1 on Saturday 09 May 20 22:40 BST (UK)
Hi all,
Please can anyone help to read the forename of Mr Rogers mentioned in the Probate of this Will.
It looks to be a Latin abbreviation.
                                                     Thanks,
                                                        Pete.

It would help to post a bit larger section nogbat to get a sense of this scribe's handwriting.

Looks like Rufo, dative singular of Rufus.

Thanks goldie61 and GR2 for your replies. I think you're probably right GR2, with "Rufo".
