Dorothy should be on 1939 register under both maiden and married surname.
Ancestry free this week!

Do you have any suspects for the parents, and do you know if she had been married before?
Have you any death dates to find births?
-
Marriage in Lincolnshire, John George Gosling born 1900 in Sleaford is a possible, though possibly too old.
Think you need the marriage certificate.
Only looks like one child born 1943 to the marriage, unless they moved - was he English?
Added:
That possible child died same year.

Hi, all yes Dorothy died in 1944, but had Roy in 1943 and died 1943.I dont know anything else about John especially how old he might be.Thanks for 1939, i will have a look.
Are Doncaster marriages on Findmypast?
Thankyou Tim

Free bmd has his name as Gossling and there is another Gossling marrying.....

John G Gossling Humphrey Doncaster 9c 1251
Dorothy M Humphrey Gossling Doncaster 9c 1251

If Dennis and John are related, there is a death in Doncaster in 2012 of a Dennis Gosling born 1921 (Gosling/Ogley, probably).
Cannot see any other Gosling/Ogley births, pity.
