Hi Everyone, I hope you are all well.
My dad who is now 86 (I think) was evacuated during the war at the age of 6 to Bredicot farm (Spetchley) and he used to go to the near-by school, which I believe is now a roundabout. Does anyone know of any photos that were taken of the school.
the people at the farm gave up my dad and his brother ( I think they were too much, energy wise) and they stayed at White Ladies Aston, with a Mrs Smith (Dolly) Are there any pictures for the village before the old houses were knocked down? my dad said there was an old lady opp who lived in a condemned house with a hole in her kitchen roof, but she continued to live there. Once she had to go to hospital and she had her second bath in her whole life !
It would be lovely to find some pictures...I myself, have had a look, maybe there is a local group?
Thank you x

You may like to try contacting the Worcestershire Local History Forum as a starting point. Link to the website below. They have a contact button if you scroll down to the bottom, on the right hand side.

Hopefully they may be able to assist you.
Not sure how quickly you will get a response, depends on whether anyone is monitoring the contacts.
