Title: elizabeth baker
Post by: marriedwithkids on Tuesday 23 August 05 02:03 BST (UK)
i am seeking info on a Elizabeth Baker born 1836[or there abouts] in Carleton, Norfolk. does this town exist firstly and if so can a kind person track her down and post  any and all info they can find on this person please. i am lead to believe she may even have been a convict sent out to Australia at some time. any info on that aspect  of her life gratefully received. if she was not a convict then at some stage she emigrated to Aus.. because she married John Watts out here in or about 1859 in Tasmania.
the info i have if she was a convict is she was transported from London on 26 April 1851 on-board the ship "Aurora 2" which arrived Tasmania on 10th august 1851. confirmation of this will help immensely with family tree.
thanks every one
Vickie
