Hi folks. Could someone kindly do a lookup 1851 based on the following info. from a marriage certificate I have.
At Parish church Tynemouth
Date :31 December, 1850. between George Fryer from Wolsingham, Durham and Elizabeth Barlow (full age & from 'this Parish')her father- Ralph Barlow. Profession- Draper.
I have lots of info on George Fryer but have NOTHING of Elizabeth's Barlow family.

Sorry Couldn't find father Ralph, but the following may be of interest.

 yes it looks like it could be my Barlows. I didn't have a scrap of info on them apart from the cert. I quoted and a brother Ralph (Elizabeth Barlow's) from an older census.( Plus her son was named Ralph).Now I have this foothold I can do a bit more digging.

P.S. This is only my second request and I'm very impressed by the quick reply to both.I will be recommending Rootschat to everyone I know now

Saw this marriage record today in " Northumberland Marriages 1813-1837"

4 July 1817 @ Newcastle St John's, Ralph Barlow and Elizabeth Barnet.

I was just coming back to say(on looking up the census info I had with Brother Ralph ) that he 1871 census is not Elizabeth's immediate family as the census I had her bros on was 1851 too!!

I've only just found this as well, seeing as though I'm new to the site.

Just click on the tiny square with the face in to the left of your posting and then click on the appropriate modify profile in the box on the left.  You can then add details in the screen that comes up.

Hope that's right as I haven't actually done it yet, but I will soon.
