Possible variation Dukesmill.
Dukesmill shows in Game Presevation Notices for Tallow, with the name Beecher in the 1970s, saw on another site someone asking about Beecher family for Ducksmill/Dukesmill.

I will have to look into this spelling as suggested it could be Dukesmill?? Instead of Ducksmill??
Sinann also a huge thank as I hadn't even began with the people who were sponsors. So thank you for looking at this. Much appreciated
Thank you also Dathai for the links which I will examine.
Thank you Skoosh also. I learnt a new word for hamlet - clachan

Hi firstly thank you again Sinann for all of the things you have found
AND
I can't thank you enough Kiltaglassan for the image you have presented me with of my great great grandfather. You are very kind and it has made my day.
I only found 2 days ago where he actually was from in the county of Waterford.
I am also guessing that although it was written as Ducksmill IT is actually Dukes Mill
I am very overwhelmed
Thank you again to everyone
Regards Michelle

I would think Ducksmill was an error on the part of the priest, it may be what he though people were saying, it would interesting to check through the register and see how long he was there at the time he was writing Ducksmill and also see if he ever changed over to Dukesmill at some point.
