It`s a will, I just want to know if there is a place name apart from Llangeinwen
Thanks.

It look like
Quirh y' mhlwri
I'll have a look on the maps.

Nearest I can find is Quirt and Quirt Lodge:

Looking at the will again, the first word is definitely Quirt - so it's in that part of the map.

Offered by my Welsh better half, and using Gadget's amazing find of Quirt:
"In God's Name, Amen
I Owen Jones from Quirt in the parish of Llangeinwen, in the County of Anglesey, healthy of mind, memory, and understanding, thanks to the Lord for all of it, and I am announcing and Confessing this my last will in the following order, which is "
There is no mention of any property other than Quirt, which is a very odd name for Wales as there is no Q in the language.

I can see the image that wilcoxon has posted, I can not see any problems ???

Thanks, I thought it was a Q, but was unsure, as you say, unusual for Welsh

There's a field very nearby named Cwyrt

Search for Cwrt & Llangeinwen; "Cwrt" is not uncommon in Welsh for a dwelling, but rendered as"Quirt" by non-Welsh-speakers. It is, of course, a borrowing from English "court".

Looking in Welsh newspapers there are hundreds of articles mentioning Quirt , over 90 years.
Thanks.
