I used this fabulous site many times a few years ago. Now it seems unavailable. Bring it back!!
Are there any similar; sites that give the same detailed information that this did - descriptions; offences committed; ships etc
I was looking for Charles Beasley/Beazley sent on the 'Barwell' 1797 to presumably NSW
Found his death & 2 possible marriages but would have like a description & offence
Thanks for any ideas or suggestions

Convict records from that early period rarely contain much detail. They are digitised on Ancestry. Charles BEAZLEY of the Barwell was tried in Dec 1793 at the Old Bailey.

RABBITS and BROWN (alias BARTLETT) were both executed on 5 Feb 1794 and Charles was pardoned from his death sentence, to be transported for life.
Lots of mentions in the Colonial Secretary's letters which are also digitised on Ancestry.

There is a description in the UK criminal registers.
Aged 16, 5'5", grey eyes, brown hair, fresh complexion, stocking weaver, Derbyshire (this would be his native place).
