I am looking for a Clemens Maximilian Morganstern who was born in Saxony Germany around 1837
His father was Frederick William Morganstern.
Can not find where he was born in Saxony possible Dresden or Leipzig.

I don't know if this is of any use to you - but I have just trawled 120 Morganstern records in Germany - and only 2 are in Saxony ..2 different tree owners - but the same village - but WAY before your time frame
one born 1490 - https://gw.geneanet.org/hoeppn4?n=morganstern&oc=&p=hans
one born 1615 - https://gw.geneanet.org/hoeppn4?n=morganstern&oc=&p=hans
but AS I SAY - the same village LENGEFELD
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lengefeld
looks to be about 45 miles from Dresden and 55 miles from Leipzig

Thank you for the info. I still can not say that this is the same family, however it looks promising

There were a quite a number of Morgensterns (with "e" instead of an "a") in Chemnitz in 1855. Do you happen to know his fathers occupation ...?
2 Possibilities for the father:
Family name: Morgenstern
Given name: Friedrich Wilhelm
Occupation: Zimmermann
Address: Zwickauerstraße 26
Place: Chemnitz
Family name: Morgenstern
Given name: Friedrich Wilhelm
Occupation: Weber
Address: Jägerstraße 15W
Place: Chemnitz
(Adreßbuch der Fabrik- und Handelsstadt Chemnitz 1855)

Hi sorry I have only just realised there was a post.
Friedrich was a builder father of Clemens Maximillian am trying to find any siblings of Clemens.
Can not find them in the 1860 UK census, I think they arrived in the 1850s. They lived in St Pancras
I have found Clemens in the 1871 census but no sign of his father or indeed his Mother.
Thanks#
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
