Hi there
I'm looking for info on the above, who I believe died in 1774. No trace of him in the usual places (Scotlands People, www.bordersfhs.org.uk etc). He was a close relative of:
- Christian Davidson, bap. Carham (over the border) in 1731. Supposedly his sister.
- Rev Isaac Davidson, minister of Sorbie, Wigtownshire, supposedly born in London so maybe a son or nephew of Joseph
Possible baptism in Carham in 1746 (he would be a bit young) and possible marriage to a Margt Pringle at Yeholm 1746.
Any info appreciated as I can't quite fit this puzzle together.
