Title: Passengers from India to UK

  Hi Everyone, I'm trying to find passenger lists for those who chose to leave India for UK around the time of India independence.  Specifically looking to find William James and Ruby Mabel James (nee Burbridge) and family of at least two children Frederick and Maurice.  Any help would be much appreciated.

Have you tried this - All UK and Ireland, Incoming Passenger Lists, 1878-1960 - on the Ancestry website?  I don't have a sub for Ancestry so can't check for you.
