Hope I am posting this in the correct place !
Moses Anderson b abt 1782-86 Lougheisland Down
The register notes say age 27 "lost his left arm at DO "
Would anyone know what "DO " refers too

Could it be an abbreviated 'ditto' is there a place name above it?

Per his discharge papers his arm was amputated as a result of a wound received in the attack on the forts of Salamanca on 23 June 1812

Yes I see that Do would mean ditto,
 as the person above was also wounded at Salamanca
