Any help in finding death and parents of Alexander (John T A) Ridley would be much appreciated.
He was probably born on 6 May 1887 (from 1939 census) in Lancashire and married Margaret Annie Doel (1900 - 1963) in Westbury, Wiltshire in 1918. They had two children: Sidney J Ridley, born 1921 and Ronald Ridley, 1925–1991. Confirmation of his birth would also be helpful - I can't find it on GRO or FreeBMD :(

It looks likely he was Jacob James Alexander Ridley as this man’s executor was a Sidney Joseph Ridley.

I can only find one marriage of a Mr RIDLEY to a Miss DOEL, which is the 1918 one.
