Title: John Walcott Emerson
Post by: chiplassie on Sunday 08 March 20 14:40 GMT (UK)
Hello,
I am wondering if anyone has this fellow in their line.  He was born 1816 Bristol; parents James Emerson and Mary Walcott. I can't find him in 1841, but it looks like he may have died in St Saviour Southwark in 1846.  His age here isn't quite accurate either, but can't find a previous death to rule this one out.
Regards,
CL

The Surrey 1841 entry for the John who died 1846 shows him married to Maria and also as born in county

What evidence do you have that your John survived infancy?

Thank you Rosie, I did just find this burial too.  No wonder he could not be located in 1841.  Thank you to everyone who posted a response so quickly also. Much appreciated.
