Title: where is this?
Post by: k.whigham on Sunday 21 August 05 14:24 BST (UK)
Can anyone identify the upper of these two place names from the marriage certificate of Thomas Evans and Elizabeth Morris June 1841.  Elizabeth lived at Wainadam, but where was Thomas?  His father's name was John.

thanks, Kate

Sorry this hasn't come out too well!!   Hopefully someone can make it more legible for me.

Thanks - that looks like the right family. I thought it said something like "Camiriol".  Thomas seems to be 30 in 1841 but only 35 in 1851 - if only we could all age that way!!

The 1841 census rounded up or down ages to the nearest 5 years...
