Title: Unable to decipher locations on marriage register
Post by: jimnorah on Thursday 20 February 20 08:56 GMT (UK)
I've attached a clipping from a marriage register which took place in Maryhill, Glasgow in 1903.
I can't make out the location of the marriage - looks like 57 ? Avenue in Glasgow. Also, I can't make out where the bride's usual residence is other than Etive Cottage. I've tried searches for both without success so I'm hoping you can come up with suggestions.
(Both bride & groom were born on the Isle of Skye which may be a help with Etive Cottage.)
Many thanks.

Many thanks to you both.
Both seem fairly clear to me now that you've deciphered them!
Can't believe I couldn't see Connel Ferry, Oban!
