I am looking for the wife of William Williams. He was born in Monmouth Wales 1815, son of Thomas Williams and Ann (maiden name Workman) I would be glad of any help. Thankyou.
-
Any proof that he made it to adulthood?
-
Thanks for your reply. No info apart from Christening.
-
Where are Thomas & Ann in 1841
-
I have looked up marriage registrations on Family Search A possibility of spouse is Marriage at Monmouth 1847. Vol 26, Page 133, line 36. Either Elizabeth Davies or Elizabeth Powell. It also mentions Thomas Williams which is his fathers name.

Many thanks for your reply. Looks a good match. That is brilliant.

I found a record on Family search referring to William Williams born 1815 recorded in the Merchant Navy 1845 to 1854 (ref BT 113). It may explain why he was not on the 1851 census. Wondered if I could get more info on this. ManyThanks
