Hi,
I am an amateur historian from Hastings, East Sussex and run a local history group on facebook together with a wiki which contains many items that I have found on my ramblings through time so-to-speak. One project which I am working on is that of the Brett Manuscript Histories of St Leonards and Hastings. I notice that there was a project set up on this website by Rod Lavers https://www.rootschat.com/history/hastings/content/view/189/ to transcribe them, but this appears to have stalled - hence my project. I have a team of volunteers transcribing all 10 of the histories (of which I have hosted on my website in PDF form and the transcripts will also periodically be uploaded to my wiki at http://wiki.historymap.info/Category:Manuscript_Histories (http://wiki.historymap.info/Category:Manuscript_Histories)
Anyone is welcome to browse the wiki, and, if they feel able, to contribute.
Thanks
Roy
